The 135th Birth Anniversary of V.O. Chidambaranar celebrated in Tuticorin Port

The 135th Birth Anniversary of the Freedom Fighter and Founder of Swedeshi Movement V.O.Chidambaranar was celebrated in the Port on 5-09-2006. Shri N.K.Raghupathy, I.A.S. Chairman, Tuticorin Port Trust and Chairman & Managing Director of Sethusamudram Corporation Limited garlanded the VOC Statue installed in the Port area and paid respect to the Freedom Fighter. A large number of teachers and students from Harbour Schools, Officers and employees of the Port participated in the function. Sweets were distributed to the participants.
