Floating in sea for harmony at Tuticorin
It was a indeed sight to watch Mohammed Ibrahim (55), a native of Ramanthapuram district, stay afloat in the inshore waters near Threspuram coast in Tuticorin, for just over an hour, to bring in harmonious relationship between India and Pakistan.
He also wanted the cross border terrorism that was disrupting the normal life in the country to end.
He carried the Indian and Pakistani flags tied to a bamboo pole while floating.
For Mr. Ibrahim, floating in the sea carrying messages was not new.
He had performed similar stunts against AIDS and for protecting the coral reef eco-system in the Gulf of Mannar.
