Le Royal Meridien, 5 Star Hotel in Tuticorin

Appu Hotels, which owns Le Royal Meridien (part of the US-based Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide), Chennai, is in the process of setting up 5 Star Hotel in Tuticorin.

The company is still scouting for land in Tuticorin for its new hotel, for which investment figures have not yet been finalised. The Tuticorin hotel will have 150 rooms.The company is planning to employ about 200 people in Tuticorin.

Nalina Saravanan, director- operations, Le Royal Meridien, Chennai said this in a recent press release.
