IOB Chennai wins Sterlite Trophy in Tuticorin

Eastern Railway (women) recovered from a first set loss to KSEB, Thiruvananthapuram, to take the next three and the match and won a berth in the super league of the national volleyball league championship in Kochi.

The railway women overcame KSEB 23-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-22 in the last match of the four-team women's league (preliminary III) for the team's third win and the Sterlite Trophy here last night.

In the men's section, IOB Chennai won the Sterlite Trophy prevailing over ONGC, Dehra Dun, 25-21, 20-25, 25-19, 25-20.
