Showcasing CDs and VCDs in Tuticorin

An exhibition of Compact Discs (CDs) and educational VCDs being held here for the last one week. It comes to a close on September 6.

Organised by the Dove Multimedia Private Limited, Chennai, it showcases CDs and VCDs on a wide range of topics from literature, games to education. The prices range from Rs. 59 to Rs. 2,000. The Encyclopedia Britannica-2006, which comes in a package of six CDs, is sold at Rs. 2,000. It includes one lakh articles, 22,000 photos and illustrations, 1,66,000 magazines, a dictionary and an atlas.

Those who wish to improve their linguistic skills can get CDs on titles such as `Learn to speak English,' priced at Rs. 800, and `Speak fluent English,' priced at Rs. 250. The Oxford dictionary is sold in a CD form at Rs. 250.
