Inter-collegiate quiz held at Tuticorin

An inter-collegiate quiz competition for undergraduate students of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University was conducted by A.P.C. Veerabahu Endowment for Science and Technology at V.O.C. College in Tuticorin on Wednesday.

The team from Mallankara Catholic College, Kaliyikkavilai, represented by J. Shameel and S. Ajeesha, won. The team from G. Venkataswamy Naidu College, Kovilpatti, represented by G. Rajendran and N. Mohammed Ghouse, finished second.

The team from A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women, Tuticorin, comprising C. Navukkarasi and A. Deena Mahalakshmi, finished third.

In all, 17 colleges took part in the competition.

G. Sukumar, Associate Professor of Micro Biology at Fisheries College and Research Institute, was the quizmaster.
